A PRESTIGIOUS new £35m addition to Liverpool’s Knowledge Quarter is the latest student accommodation development we have helped to capture in the city.
As providers of leading media solutions in the construction sector, we were ideally positioned to help accurately demonstrate Create Construction’s specialist methods and techniques on this, their biggest development so far.
Capturing in The City Region
Installation of one of our own built & bespoked camera systems proved tricky, due to a lack of suitable locations around the development.
This meant using one of our innovative installation methods to ensure a safe, secure and stable position from which to capture the 12+ months of external development works for Create Construction.
This was vital to the contractor, as Norton Street represented their biggest development to date. The video we produced has been featured in a detailed case study about the project on their own website, demonstrating a further use for the above Ultra HD imagery we capture.
Situated in the Islington district of Liverpool, the scheme boasts 783 beds for students, as well as social areas, gym, laundry and ground floor retail units.
In close proximity to both John Moores University and University of Liverpool campuses, the 220,000 sq ft. build will be a major source of specialist accommodation in the city’s Knowledge Quarter – a key location helping to push innovation and growth in The City Region – for years to come.
Education projects
Our work for Create Construction is just one of many other student accommodation builds we have captured for other leading contractors across the UK. Some of these include:
- Tara House – another central Liverpool-based student residential development
- The Tramshed – luxury student housing in Preston for Moorfield Group
- Dunblane Street – a new student accommodation build in Glasgow by GRAHAM Construction
- Two separate developments in Bournemouth for Global Student Accommodation.
We have also provided carefully managed media capture for world-renowned higher education institutions such as University of Oxford, University of Cambridge, City, University of London and University of Warwick.
